Bio

Pozzer is a Brazilian visual artist whose body of work is marked by a deep immersion in self-knowledge and spirituality. He seeks to understand the principles and laws that govern the human universe. His creative journey began in childhood, through music, a world that opened the door to cognitive and creative growth and led him toward new modes of expression. In photography, he found a new way to represent his vision of the world, and the nuances of the beings who inhabit this earth.

Based in São Paulo, but shaped by experiences ranging from his birth in Rio Grande do Sul to the legendary Maya land of the Yucatán Peninsula, his work reflects the diversity of cultural and spiritual influences he has absorbed throughout his travels. His most recent exhibition took place in 2023 at Latin America's largest crypto art event, held at the São Paulo Biennial, in Ibirapuera Park.

The series presented here is the result of more than a decade of introspection and evolution, each image capturing a moment of his continuous evolution. Pozzer engages visual narratives that challenge the viewer to look beyond the surface and contemplate the invisible dimensions that make up our existence.

About the series

A visual exploration of the complexities of being. The artist positions himself as an observer of his own self, seeking to unravel the mysteries of his own being. Each work is an essential piece of a spiritual puzzle, navigating the duality and interconnection between the visible and invisible worlds. Pozzer's creative process is driven by an intrinsic need to understand the forces that shape his existence, from spiritual experiences to the choices that define his moral journey. Rich in symbolism and emotional intensity, the works trace a trajectory that moves from the dismantling of inner barriers toward an encounter with a deeper spiritual truth. The series invites the viewer to accompany the artist on his introspective journey. Each image reveals a fragment of his search for balance and self-understanding. SALAS is a visual narrative that challenges the boundaries between the earthly and the spiritual, the known and the unknown, proposing a reflection on what it truly means to “be” human.
